What are Steam Badges?

Steam Badges are digital rewards that you get for your achievements on Steam. The badges can be crafted by combining Steam Trading Cards, which you earn by buying and playing games on Steam. Steam also has seasonal badges that change with the different seasons. For example, in the summer you can get badges related to sunny activities like swimsuits, ice creams, seashells, and cameras.

How to Earn Steam Badges

You earn Steam Badges by crafting together Steam Trading Cards. You earn these cards in different ways on Steam. For example, by purchasing games, completing achievements, trading cards or buying them on the Community Market. However, badges can only be earned by combining these cards together. You cannot buy or trade Steam Badges with other players on Steam.

How to craft a Steam Badge

Collected all the Steam Trading Cards you need for a certain badge? Great, now all you need to do is craft them together! This is how you do it:

1. Go to your Steam profile and click on Badges
2. Navigate to the badge you want to craft
3. If you haven’t earned all the Trading Cards related to the badge, you get the option to buy the remaining cards or request a trade with a friend
4. Once you have all the Trading Cards, you can click the button that says Ready
5. Click on Craft Badge
6. Your badge will be crafted and after this you can find it in your profile!

• Buy Steam Trading Cards: The quickest way to earn your Steam Badge is by buying the required trading cards. Once you’ve bought all the trading cards, you can craft them into a badge.
• Trade Steam Trading Cards: If you don’t want to spend money on trading cards, you can trade them with friends via Steam. Trade the card you don’t want with the ones you need to complete your badge.
