A Steam Sale typically lasts around 8 days. Some Sales are a bit shorter, think 6 days, and some Sales can even last up to 15 days. So be sure to check the dates of the sale beforehand.

You can request a refund for games that you purchased while they were on sale. The game needs to be purchased within the last 14 days and not played more than 2 hours.
