On November 9, 2025, Rockstar Games released an official statement which said that the release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 is once more delayed. That means GTA 6 will officially drop on November 19, 2026.

Rockstar Games explained that they need some more time: “We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”

GTA 6 takes place in Vice City, a fictional city located in the fictional state of Leonidas. Vice City first appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and is inspired by Miami.

How much will GTA 6 cost?

As of now, the price for GTA 6 is not known. Rumours about the game’s price tag are all over the place, with numbers ranging from €60 all the way to over €100. When GTA V came out, the game cost €59,99. We can at least expect a similar price for Grand Theft Auto VI. It’s likely that Rockstar will also release some sort of premium edition, which will be more expensive.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until more information is released to know the official price for GTA 6.

How big will Grand Theft Auto VI be?
