The trailer shows beautiful beaches, white tall apartment towers, palm trees, an airboat racing through a swamp, and a crocodile storming into a store. And as soon as the large letters “Vice” appear on screen, it's undeniable: GTA 6 is set in Vice City, inspired by Miami!

What time period is GTA 6 set in?

The trailer features social media images of people partying, confirming that the game is set in the present day.

Who are the main characters of GTA 6?

At the beginning of the trailer, Lucia is seen in her “Orange is the New Black” outfit. There is also a male character seen, but his name is not mentioned in the trailer. They seem to form a duo comparable to Bonnie and Clyde.
