What is Pokémon Legends: Z-A about?

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A you play as a determined Pokémon trainer. Your goal is to make it from rank Z all the way to rank A by battling in special Battle Zones that appear at night. During your journey, the mysterious Zygarde takes an interest in you. Besides, there’s something strange happening with regular Pokémon that Mega Evolve out of nowhere and lose control. Can you put a stop to this?

Where does Pokémon Legends: Z-A take place?

Pokémon Legends: Z-A takes place in Lumiose City, which is located in the Kalos region. You may still know this vibrant city from the Pokémon X and Y games, but it’s evolved a lot since then. Lumiose City is transformed into a place that belongs to both humans and Pokémon, with a lot more nature and new facilities to explore. The city is inspired by Paris, and in the very centre you find the Prism Tower, the symbol of Lumiose City.
