When will Pokémon Legends: Z-A release?

Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases on October 16, 2025. It was originally planned for the Switch 1 only, but in April, Nintendo announced a special edition for the Switch 2. Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition releases on the same day, and both versions of the game are already available for pre-order. How much will Pokémon Legends: Z-A Cost?

How much Pokémon Legends: Z-A will cost depends on if you want to get the game for the Switch 1 or the Switch 2. Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the Switch 1 will cost €59.99 and for the Switch 2 it’ll cost €69.99.

The Switch 2 edition is playable both on the Switch 2 and the Switch 1, but if you play it on the latter, the exclusive Switch 2 updates won’t be available. If you already have Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the Switch 1, you can easily upgrade the game for the Switch 2 with an upgrade pack (€9.99).
