Via your internet browser:

1. Go to ec.nintendo.com/redeem and log in to your account.
2. Enter the Nintendo code and follow the instructions on the screen.
   
   

Via your Nintendo Switch:

1. Click on the Nintendo eShop in the HOME menu.
2. Select the account you want to use.
3. Click on "Use Code" on the left side of the screen.
4. Enter the digital code of the Nintendo  Switch gift card.
5. Select "Confirm", and you're done!
   
   

No, as of 29 August 2022, Nintendo eShop Cards no longer work for Nintendo 3DS or Wii U. These prepaid gift cards can only be redeemed on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch consoles.
