Does GTA 6 have early access?
No, Rockstar Games hasn’t announced early access for GTA 6. It technically could still be coming, but since no early access was revealed when pre-orders went live, it doesn’t seem likely. This is in line with other big games from Rockstar Games. Neither GTA 5 nor Red Dead Redemption had early access benefits.
Will GTA 6 Ultimate Edition have early access?
Pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 doesn’t include early access either. This version of the game does give you a lot of benefits, like cosmetic updates and exclusive in-game shops, but not early access to the game.
What if I see a GTA 6 early access ad?
If you’ve been looking to pre-order GTA 6, you might come across websites that promise you early access to the game. It can be tempting to fall for this, but unfortunately, these claims are false. We advise you to be careful with these sites. In the best-case scenario, you might just get the game on regular release without early access, but in the worst case, you might pay way too much for the game or maybe even have your personal information stolen.
GTA 6 early access is definitely not available, so don’t believe webshops or other sites that claim to offer it.
Early pre-load: Download GTA 6 on November 12
For those who want to play GTA 6 instantly on release day, there is a silver lining. If you pre-order GTA 6, you can start downloading the game on November 12. This way, you can make sure you’re ready to start playing on November 19 and avoid any annoying download time on release day.
Note: pre-loading GTA 6 on November 12 only means that you can download the game on your console earlier. It won’t give you any early access to the game, since it won’t be available until November 19.
