After Season 3 Reloaded, Activision and Infinity Ward have something new lined up for you, because Season 4 is here! What can be expected?
The Warzone Season 3 update is still fresh in our minds as one of the most extensive content drops ever for Call of Duty. With the complete renewal of Verdansk as perhaps the biggest update for the new season at the time. During the midseason update (Season 3 Reloaded) some of your favorite 80's action heroes even stopped by to say howdy. No wonder that fans worldwide are eagerly looking forward to the drop of the fourth Call of Duty season. Here's what to expect:
The Season 3 Battle Pass ends on June 16, which logically means Season 4 will start on June 17. On June 7, it was also confirmed that the Season 4 Reveal will officially take place during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live. This event began on June 10, when the Warzone Season 4 Gameplay trailer was also released.
On June 14, the roadmap for Battle Royale was revealed and this was, of course, completely packed with jaw-dropping new content. The start of this new season will be launched by a new “Ground Fall - Limited Time Event” where you can earn some great rewards for both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. If you complete all challenges, there’s even an Epic Secondary Weapon Blueprint in it that will surely not disappoint!
New season means new weapons, new operators, blueprints and maps. For Battle Pass owners, there are of course even more perks to explore for Season Four. You will receive plenty of new weapons, character skins, blueprints and a large number of other cosmetics, as you’re probably used to from your previous Battle Passes. A good investment for Warzone players and veterans alike. In short, with a Battle Pass in your possession you can also arm yourself a lot better in Season 4 for modes like Battle Royale. More XP, more rewards, the real question here is: why NOT get a Battle Pass?
Black Ops Cold War is getting a big Multiplayer map expansion this season. With Collateral (12v12) and Collateral Strike (6v6) and a new Amsterdam map. There will also be a Gunfight and Face Off map that support 2v2 or 3v3. And then there's Hijacked, the classic map set on a luxury yacht. Rush, another classic, will be released as a map later in the season. There will be a round-based Zombies map and a Verdansk level update, where this time a satellite crashed and the wreckage has obviously caused the necessary damage.
Of course we can carefully write this down for you here, and we did. But a new Call of Duty season is something that has to be experienced! So kick back, starting June 17th and get ready for some more ice cold warfare this fourth Call of Duty season!
