Portal 2

Portal 2 is of course already a sublime game in itself, but with the challenging co-op mode it's a party! Your campaign suddenly turns into an almost impossible-to-solve duo puzzle. This is a good practice for the non-gaming partners to get into it, before you start playing the campaign together.

This game is actually so cute and lovely, you can't imagine it could ever lead to bickering. Guess again. The common thread in this story is that you and your partner are two 'Yarnys' and you’re stuck with/to each other. Literally and figuratively. Mentally prepare yourself for the fact that you will regularly get tangled with each other (and with yourself). Especially if the other person is happily swinging around while you are still stuck and can't swing any further because the wire is too short, because the other one’s still happily swinging. Frustration will ensue. After playing this game you at least know whether you really want to tie the knot, or whether the relationship is hanging by a thread. Okay, hard stop.
