To check your PlayStation balance, follow these steps:

Check balance on your PS5:

  1. Go to PlayStation Store and press the triangle button
  2. Select More
  3. Your wallet balance is displayed on the right side of your profile icon

Check balance on your PS4:

  1. Go to Settings, click on Account Management and select Account Information
  2. Select Wallet and sign in
  3. Select Add Funds
  4. Your wallet balance is displayed at the top right of the screen

Check balance via the PlayStation website

  1. Go to store.playstation.com and log in

Your PSN credit is tied to your PlayStation account, not your console. So when you switch to a new PlayStation console, you’ll still be able to use your credit (as long as you use the same PS account).

The PlayStation Wallet does have a limit in the amount of funds you can add to it. Reddit users discovered that the limit seems to be at $375 in 2023, but PlayStation hasn’t officially revealed how high the limit is, and the amount may vary in different regions. If you're unable to redeem PSN credit, it might be because you’ve reached your limit. Be sure to check with the PlayStation support team if you run into any issues.
