The newest COD: Modern Warfare II

COD: Modern Warfare II is the latest entry to the Call of Duty franchise. The game ushers in a new era of COD with brand new gun handling, advanced AI, a global compaign, fully immersive multiplayer combat and a narrative-driven Special Ops mode. You can look forward to the following new features in MW II:

• A completely revamped Gunsmith sytem that includes weapons platforms with universal attachments, a progression overhaul and a firing range
• New multiplayer game modes including Knockout, Prisoner Rescue, a 3v3 raid game mode and a third-person playlist
• New battle maps (up to 32v32) and core maps (6v6)
• An overhauled class system with new tacticals, lethals, field upgrades and perk packages
• Enhanced player movement with mantling, ledge hanging, diving to prone and aquatic combat
• New vehicle gameplay with leaning out of vehicle windows, mantling onto vehicle roofs and vehicle hijacking
  
  

When will Modern Warfare II be released?

The new COD, Modern Warfare II, will be released on October 28.

When will Warzone 2.0 be released?

Warzone 2.0 will be released on November 16. The new Warzone is an evolution of the popular COD battle royale with a brand new play space and sandbox. Warzone 2.0 will include:

• A brand new map named "Al Mazrah"
• Over a dozen unique vehicles such as the Tactical Vehicle, UTV, Light Tank, Heavy Chopper and the Rigid Inflatable Boat
• New ground loot and a new way to store and access loot
• New Buy Stations with buyable gear, limited equipment and buyable weapons
• A new Circle Collapse system with multiple circles that reconverge into one safe zone as the match progresses
• A new Gulag system that includes a 2v2 battle, a key that can be used to escape and loot that comes with you if you win
• A new "extraction mode" known as "DMZ" that allows you to collect and use gear from match to match
  
  

When will Season 1 start in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0?

Season 1 of MW II and Warzone 2.0 will start on November 16, which coincides with the release of Warzone 2.0.

Does Modern Warfare II have cross-play?

Yes, Modern Warfare II supports cross-play across all platforms. This means that you can play MW II with all your friends, regardless of which platform they're using. Cross-play is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Battle.net and Steam. Simply log into your Activision account and connect with your friends!
