How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your HBO Max subscription, follow these steps:

1. Open the Google Play Store
2. Click on your profile icon in the top right corner

Your subscription will renew automatically from the first time you pay for HBO Max.

How do I change my subscription or billing period?

You can change your HBO Max subscription from a basic to a standard subscription, and you can choose to pay monthly or yearly. To change these settings, follow the steps below:

1. Open the HBO Max app and click on your profile in the top right corner
2. Go to Settings and scroll to Subscriptions
3. Choose Switch Subscriptions
4. Select your preferred settings and confirm the change
5. You’ll be taken to Google Play to complete the subscription
   
   

When you change from a basic to a standard subscription, the change will be immediate, and you can’t go back to a basic subscription. 
For the billing period: if you switch to a monthly plan the change will happen on the next billing date, if you switch to a yearly plan the change will be immediate.

How do I change my payment method?

To change your payment method for HBO Max, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Google Play App
2. Click on your Profile Icon in the top right corner
3. Go to Payments and Subscriptions and then Payment Methods
4. Click on Edit Payment Methods and make your changes
5. Click on Update and you’re all set!
   
   

Can I see my billing history?

You can view your billing history in the HBO Max app:

1. Click on your profile in the top right corner
2. Choose Settings and go to Subscriptions

Can I get a refund?

It is possible to get a refund on Google Play, but your purchase will need to fall under specific categories. For example: you (or another person using your account) made the purchase accidentally, you don’t recognize the purchase, or you bought something less than 48 hours ago. If you meet these requirements, you can apply for a refund via Google Play.
