When is the Nintendo Switch 2 release date?
You’ve probably heard all sorts of rumors about the Nintendo Switch 2. There have been lots of talks about all the aspects of this console, but when will the Nintendo Switch 2 be released? We will tell you what to expect!
Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date Announced
Nintendo has just confirmed that the Switch 2 will be released in 2025. The exact date is not yet known, but rumors suggest it will be released in June 2025.
Nintendo Switch 2 First Look Trailer
Nintendo has also launched an introductory video showcasing the new hardware. For now, it appears that the new Switch 2 will be larger. It’s primarily black, with pops of color on the controllers. To us, it seems to have a more comfortable grip.
It is not yet clear whether the new Nintendo Switch 2 will support all original Nintendo Switch games, but some Nintendo Switch 2 exclusives will be released. More details will be shared later on the official Nintendo website.

Asia:
Tokyo (Makuhari): April 26–27, 2025
