Halloween. The one time that you can leave your cobwebs in front of the door and nobody looks at you strangely when you howl at a full moon. In October, many game publishers perform séances to make special eerie content. So we can style our character and weapon to match this terrifying season.
A lot of holiday-themed events happen all year round. What makes the Halloween event special is that you can often get a lot more event-exclusive items compared to other events. So naturally, there are Halloween events to be found in all of our favorite video games! Some games come with their own spooky levels, but what we are looking forward to the most is customizing our characters to fit the season. Let’s find out what unearthly surprises await us this month!

If there is any genre that is perfect for a Halloween event, it must be Battle Royale. Normally, matches are already very thrilling and nerve-racking. But add a ghostly map with spooky sound effects, and your adrenaline goes through the roof.
The Halloween event in Apex Legends is “Monsters Within” and can be played from October 12, till November 2. Now, The Haunting is back in full swing for both Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, featuring new game modes, new multiplayer maps, exclusive operator bundles, new weapons and much more!
Warzone players will find a spiritual successor to Zombie Royale in the new Ghosts of Verdansk playlist. Manage your fear level by killing enemies and staying in Sacred Ground, or find yourself experiencing some frightening hallucinations. Killed in action? Hallow's End will take place from October 18th and will last until the 1st of November. Hallow’s End began as a celebration to end the harvest event. This is the same date as when the Forsaken broke free from the Lich King. If you wonder what to do in this time around Azeroth and beyond, here are some tips:

If you want to go outside after dark, you can do so in spooky-style with Pokémon GO. The event is going live on October 15 and lasts until October 31. Just make sure to finish your ritual before catching a Ghastly in the alley behind the church. The cool new stuff that this event brings will come in 2 parts, divided over two weeks. There will be a collection challenge featuring Pumpkaboo, a special Research story called: What Lies Beneath the Mask, and increased XL Candy when you are walking with your Buddy. Besides that, Phantump and Trevenant will make their debut and there are increased spawns for Yamask, Duskull, Alolan Marowak, and Banette.

Rockstar feels very generous during the Halloween times and will probably double up on payouts again in some game modes. Of course, we are trying to save up for new cars with Halloween spray. Or perhaps you want to spend your Gold Bars on Weapons and Cosmetics such as face paints or masks.
We have all had some time to develop our skills in the newest addition to the EA sports family. FIFA 22 will join Halloween with a few tricks and treats of its own! Expect a little rebrand as the “Ultimate Scream” event we are familiar with is now called the “Rulebreakers” event. Scary! The event is rumored to start on October 22 and last for 2 weeks.
