Forza Horizon 6 takes place in Japan

The game's open-world mode will support sessions of up to 12 players for car meets, drag meets, and other activities. Plus, the game will support full cross-play across all platforms.

Forza Horizon 6 on PlayStation 5

As of now, Forza Horizon 6 has only been announced for Xbox and PC. Playground Games officially announced that the game will release on PlayStation 5, but there’s no release window as of May 7, 2026. An exact date for this release isn’t known yet, but you can already wishlist the game on the PlayStation Store. If you do this, you’ll get an automatic update when Forza Horizon 6 is available!

Forza Horizon 6 on Xbox: buying vs. Game Pass

Xbox players can get Forza Horizon 6 in two ways. They can choose to buy the game through the Xbox Store or access it with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. That’s ideal if you already have an Xbox Game Pass subscription, but what’s better for players who don’t have the membership?

If you want to play Forza Horizon 6 from day one, you’ll need the Ultimate Xbox Game Pass subscription, which is £16.99 per month.
