The threat of Ragnarök increases and intruders of ice and fire besiege the Nine Worlds. The mystical world of the dwarves seems to be falling apart. During this chaos, Allfather Odin tries to rescue his son Baldr, who has been captured by the immortal fire giant called Surtr.

Those of you who have played as Odin (or Havi) before, know that the gender could not be altered. Well, that has changed! With the new DLC you can now switch between male and female Odin - whenever you want. And that's not all! This expansion offers a lot more cool new content, such as:

Play with your Hugr-Rip bracelet

In Dawn of Ragnarök, you'll receive a bracelet that temporarily copies a new skill from your defeated enemy. This is not only useful in battle, but it also comes in very handy when sneaking around among your rivals. The bracelet grants you one of the following powers: 

• Jotunheim power turns you into an ice giant. This allows you to teleport and walk among other ice giants, while avoiding conflict.
• Always wanted to be a badass necromancer? With the Rebirth ability you can bring dead opponents back to life, so they can fight for you. 
• The Muspelheim skill provides immunity to lava, fire and explosions. You can also walk around undetected among other fire demons. 
• And the Winter's power, as the name suggests, gives you mastery over ice. How cool!

Is Dawn of Ragnarök included in the Season Pass?

The Assassin's Creed Valhalla Season Pass includes the first two DLCs, Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. However, Dawn of Ragnarök is not included in the Season Pass. This means that you’ll have to purchase the latest expansion separately. 

Is Dawn of Ragnarök worth it?

The latest Valhalla DLC will cost you £32.79 for the Xbox and £33.99 for the PC. So is Dawn of Ragnarök worth it? That's for you to decide! Ask yourself these three questions:

• Do you like the mythological aspects of Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey best? 
• Have you finished most of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, or have you just started the game and are you already sure you can't get enough?
