Our favourite Pokémon event, Pokémon GO Fest 2025, is taking place this year at three real-world locations between May 29 and June 15. And this year, Volcanion is making its first appearance in Pokémon GO! We’ll give you all the ins and outs of this exciting event.
When is Pokémon GO Fest 2025?
Pokémon GO Fest’s three in-person events will take place between May 29 and June 15, 2025. Of course, you can also join Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global from anywhere in the world. The global online event will take place on June 28 and 29, 2025.
- May 29 – June 1, 2025: Osaka, Japan
- June 6 – June 8, 2025: Jersey City, New Jersey, USA
- June 13 – June 15, 2025: Paris, France

Osaka, Japan: May 29 – June 1, 2025

Trainers can join Pokémon GO Fest 2025 in the beautiful, renowned Japanese city of Osaka, held in Expo ’70 Commemorative Park.
Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6 – 8, 2025

US-based Trainers can participate in Liberty State Park, Jersey City — the Garden State! While you’re there, don’t miss the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
Paris, France: June 13 – 15, 2025

Oui oui! French Trainers will be able to join GO Fest 2025 in the City of Lights, at Parc de Sceaux, just outside Paris.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global
On June 28 and 29, 2025, Trainers from all over the world can join GO Fest 2025 from any location during the online global event. Global tickets are available now — and the good news is: they won’t sell out, unlike the real-world events.
