Daba: Land of Water Scar - coming Spring 2027
In Daba: Land of Water Scar, you get to play as a clayman searching for water in a land that's seemingly run dry. Intrigued? This game is set to release in Spring 2027.
Digimon Time Stranger: A Hero's Eternal Legacy - coming 2027
Fifty new Digimon are making their way to the PS5 in Digimon Time Stranger: A Hero's Eternal Legacy. This game, which takes place three years after the main game, is set to release in 2027.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 - coming 2027
During the State of Play, we also got a first look at Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which is releasing in 2027. This game promises customisable action by letting you create your own hero and discover your own playstyle.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World - releases December 3, 2026
Two young Monster Wranglers venture into a mysterious alternate world, teaming up with the creatures they meet along the way. A new trailer gave us a closer look at their journey ahead of the December 3 launch.
Echoes of Aincrad: Sword Art Online – Genesis Maidens (DLC) - coming Winter 2026
The first expansion for Sword Art Online: Echoes of Aincrad lands this winter. Genesis Maidens takes players back to Aincrad's early floors with a brand-new story, welcomes Mito to the fight, and adds fresh gameplay on top.
Fate/Extra Record - releases January 28, 2027
This full remake reimagines the Moon Holy Grail War and reworks its deck-building Command Card battle system for a fresh strategic edge. Fate/Extra Record is confirmed for PS5 and PS4 on January 28, 2027.
Final Fantasy Resonance - demo available now, full release October 22, 2026
Big news for Final Fantasy Resonance: the fan-favourite villain Sephiroth joins as a findable, challengeable boss with a special reward for those who beat him. The first chapter is also playable right now as a pre-order demo, with your progress carrying over into the full game on October 22.
Final Fantasy VII Revelation - releases April 8, 2027
The final chapter of Square Enix's remake trilogy arrives April 8, 2027. Expect an even bigger world to explore, from soaring through the skies in the Highwind to grappling and riding chocobos across the ground below, all powered by the new FITS combat system.
Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted & Echoes of Sekigahara - releases October 1, 2026
Atsu's story isn't over yet. Most Wanted is a new combat survival mode arriving with the game's Complete Edition, pitting you against waves of enemies and tough boss fights for new weapons, cosmetics, and unlockable characters. The Complete Edition also adds Echoes of Sekigahara, an expansion diving into Atsu's past during the Battle of Sekigahara. Both arrive on October 1.
Gran Turismo 7: Spec IV update - rolling out October and December 2026
As Gran Turismo celebrates 30 years, its Spec IV update brings two new circuits, 12 new cars, and fresh modes across two drops. Look out for Online Drift Trials, condition-shuffling Shuffle Races, and a new Family mode built for players of every skill level.
Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controllers - launching November 19, 2026
Two new DualSense controllers bring Vice City's energy straight to your hands, available in limited-edition Black and White. Pre-orders open September 10, with both controllers launching alongside Grand Theft Auto VI itself on November 19.
Gundam Rogue Orbit - releases March 5, 2027
A new trailer put the spotlight on Gundam Rogue Orbit's hard-hitting combat, alongside confirmation of its March 5, 2027, release date. Expect deep customisation options, including new weapon types, Tactical Skills, and mobile suit parts that change how your Gundam moves and fights.
Hunter's Moon - releases October 25, 2026
Set during a single haunting night, Hunter's Moon is a first-person folk horror game inspired by the historical record of English witch hunts. Play as an accused woman on the run, sneaking past villagers and evading witch hunters through an immersive 17th-century setting. It arrives on October 25.
Keeper - out now
From Double Fine Productions comes Keeper, a wordless, third-person puzzle adventure. A dormant lighthouse awakens on a forgotten island and sets off on a strange journey with a spirited seabird companion, exploring mysteries far beyond its own understanding. Keeper is available today.
LEGO PlayStation set - launching October 1, 2026
LEGO fans can finally build their own PlayStation console: a 1,911-piece set recreating the original console and controller at near 1:1 scale, measuring roughly 26 cm wide when assembled. This first-of-its-kind collaboration launches October 1.
Maneater 2 - coming 2027
Play as a man-eating bull shark loose in the waters of an ultra-luxury private island theme park. Eat, explore, and evolve your way toward freedom in this splash-hit sequel, coming to PS5 next year.
Marvel's Wolverine - releases September 15, 2026
A new Launch Trailer gives us a closer look at Logan's allies, including telekinetic ally Jean Grey and the members of Team X, plus a first glimpse of new friends and foes. Marvel's Wolverine claws its way onto PS5 globally on September 15, 2026.
Metro 2039 - releases February 4, 2027
4A Games revealed the first PS5 Pro gameplay for this survival shooter, blending exploration, combat, and stealth across a beautifully deadly world. Follow the mysterious Stranger into the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow when Metro 2039 launches February 4, 2027.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance - coming 2027
A giant dragon's sudden attack throws the Forbidden Lands into chaos in this massive Monster Hunter Wilds expansion. Expect new monsters, evolved hunting mechanics, a new locale, and the next chapter of the Expedition Team's story when Ascendance launches on PS5 in 2027.
PlayStation Plus: new additions - rolling out through 2026
Four new titles are joining PlayStation Plus. Mycopunk, a highly customizable co-op looter shooter for up to 4 players, lands in the Game Catalogue later this year. PlayStation Plus Premium Classics also welcomes Mega Man X: Command Mission this September, followed by Dino Crisis 2 and the original Ratchet & Clank.
Rematch x Blue Lock - launches September 24, 2026
Sloclap's online multiplayer football game Rematch is teaming up with Blue Lock, bringing the anime's Egoists into the mix. The collaboration kicks off September 24 on PS5.
Rev. Noir - coming 2027
First revealed in February, this RPG returns with new gameplay trailers and a confirmed 2027 release. Follow Asch and Finé as they race to stop a deadly catastrophe known as the lightfall.
Rhapsody in Scarlet - release date TBA
Konami unveils an all-new action-adventure set in 1920s New York, blending jazz, magical beasts, and mystery. Magus Ellie Myers gets swept up in a plot involving a shadowy mafia organisation, with more story details still to come.
Saros Zenith update - coming later in 2026
Saros players get a free update packed with new content. Overlord Rush lets you battle campaign bosses back-to-back while competing against players worldwide, while the new Eclipse Layers mode adds fresh modifiers and progression options. New accessibility features, including a slow-game-speed option, are also on the way.
SlashZero - coming Spring 2027
A time-limited demo for this side-scrolling action roguelike is available now on PS5, featuring three playable characters and over 10 hours of content. SlashZero's full release, set across shattered timelines, launches in Spring 2027.
Stupid Never Dies - releases October 21, 2026
Jump into a free demo of this wild zombie action game today, complete with save data that carries over into the full release. Steal abilities from powerful monsters to grow stronger before Stupid Never Dies launches on October 21.
The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes - coming 2027
The Eminence in Shadow makes its console debut with a roguelite action game centred on the Seven Shadows. Its original story was crafted under the supervision of series author Daisuke Aizawa, and the game is set to launch on PS5 in 2027.
Uncanyon - coming 2027
From the creator of Maquette comes Uncanyon, a puzzle-first adventure set in a forgotten world shaped by colliding realities. Blend and reshape those realities yourself as you explore the world you create, launching on PS5 next year.
Until Dawn 2 - releases January 28, 2027
The Dead True crew returns for a new supernatural hunt, journeying from Blackwood Sanitorium to the mysterious Akishima Island. Expect more choice-driven storytelling and consequences that follow you when Firesprite's horror sequel launches January 28, 2027.
Where the Seeds Fall - releases November 5, 2026
Cygames debuts its new CygamesEdge label with this action-adventure, following a soldier and a Fell Child as they descend the World Tree toward a blight-stricken world below. Where the Seeds Fall arrives on PS5 on November 5, 2026.
World Phasebound Control Authority: WPCA - coming 2028
Set in a supernaturally altered Seoul, this new action RPG puts you in the role of a Containment Agent tasked with facing down bizarre phenomena inside containment zones. World Phasebound Control Authority: WPCA is coming to PS5 in 2028.
