State of Play September 2025: 007 First Light Game Play deepdive

PlayStation’s latest State of Play aired on September 3rd, 2025, and focused entirely on the upcoming James Bond espionage action-adventure game 007: First Light, expected to release in 2026.

IO Interactive treated us to 30 minutes of gameplay, showcasing Bond’s very first mission as an MI6 recruit. The footage includes stealthy on-foot sequences, intense shootouts, and high-speed car chases.

In our opinion, this is shaping up to be an epic spy thriller, one we definitely can’t wait to play!

State of Play, June 2025

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls

A new Marvel fighting game? Let's go! PlayStation Studios announced that they're teaming up with Marvel Games to create a new epic fighting game, complete with reimagined characters and jaw-dropping visuals. It'll be easy to pick up for newcomers, as well as challenging enough for veterans.

Silent Hill f release date

During the June State of Play, we got a new look at Silent Hill f. That means new gameplay images, AND a release date. Silent Hill f officially releases on September 25.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles

You heard that right, we're getting a new Final Fantasy Tactics! The famous strategy RPG returns to the PS5 and PS4 on September 30. You can expect an enhanced version of the old game with fully voiced dialogue, graphical improvements, and a number of other new features.
