The game offers unique communication mechanics that allow for communication between units, officers and even players of opposing teams (through proximity chat). Officers must lead their squad and communicate with their team’s commander. This is where the real-time strategy element of Hell Let Loose kicks in. The commander is in charge of giving orders such as tank deployments or air strikes. Doing so will cost resources which have to be supplied by engineers on the battlefield.
