What’s New in Warzone Season 3?

1. Rebirth Island Returns

Rebirth Island is back with the following points of interest:

2. New Modes and Gameplay Features

Season 3 introduces 4 new game modes:

• Warzone Bootcamp: A new training mode set on a randomized part of Urzikstan.
• Rebirth Resurgence: Resurgence game mode and rules on Rebirth Island.
• Rebirth Resurgence Loaded: Resurgence game mode but everyone starts with their Loadout.
• Rebirth Lockdown: A large-scale Battle Royale version of Hardpoint.
  
  

Several new Public Events are also available in Warzone Season 3:

• Rebirth Infil Strikes: Random airstrikes that destroy significant parts of a certain location:
  • Lighthouse Disintegration
  • Prison Roof Collapse
  • Water Tower Wreckage
• Gulag: Climb and Punishment: Two ladders drop down in the Gulag, allowing both you and your opponent to escape, if you trust each other.
• Heavy Armor: Randomly equips an additional Armor Plate for the duration of the match.
  
  

In addition to new game modes and public events, expect some new and returning gameplay features:

• New Squad Rage Field Upgrade: An enhanced version of the Battle Rage Field Upgrade, vaporizes any gas within radius and gives Battle Rage to you and teammates within radius.
• New Utility Box Field Upgrade: Combines the utility of Armor and Munitions Box into one.
• New Foresight Killstreak: Shows the location of every future gas circle, so you’ll know where the game ends.
• Returning Specialist Perk Package: Grants every applicable Perk in the game.
• Updated Aquatic Movement: You can now swim and traverse waterlogged tunnels and a flooded bunker on Rebirth Island.
• New Biometrics Scanner: Biometric Scanner terminals produce a Keycard based on your statistics. Take the Keycard to a Buy Station for extra loot.
• Variable Time of Day on Rebirth Island.
• New Smart Displays that show Operators who are performing well.
• Earn bonuses when you land near your squad.
• Weapon Trade Station: Trade unwanted weapons for another weapon and extra loot.
• New ways to open and enter Bunkers across the map.

Earn new rewards in a new season of Warzone Ranked Play:

What’s New in Multiplayer Season 3?

1. 6 New 6v6 Maps

Season 3 launches with the following maps:

• 6 Star: A brand-new map, medium-sized, based on a 6-star resort in Dubai.
• Emergency: A brand-new map, small-sized, based on an Arizonan medical facility.
• Growhouse: A remaster of Sphere from Call of Duty: Vanguard, now set in a backwoods narcotics den, small-sized.
• Tanked: A repurposed map taken from the Vondel Zoo, medium-sized.
  
  

Two more maps will arrive mid-season:

• Checkpoint: A repurposed map taken from the Stronghold point of interest of Rebirth Island, small-sized.
• Grime: A brand new map set in a grimy, underground London, medium-sized.
  
  

2. 4 New Game Modes

Season 3 launches with the following game modes:

• Capture the Flag: Classic COD game mode that revolves around stealing the enemy flag and returning it to your home base.
• One in the Chamber: Iconic free-for-all party mode in which each player gets one bullet to start with and one extra bullet for every elimination.
  
  

The following game modes will follow later in the Season:

• Minefield: Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint with the addition of mines that drop at enemy corpse locations.
• Escort: Based on the limited-time mode Payload from Warzone. One team’s objective is to escort a payload while the other team defends. Roles are switched at the end of the round.
• Vortex Playlist: Mosh Pit of game modes set on Airborne, Satan’s Quarry, Skidgrow, Sporeyard, and Tetanus, with special modifiers.

4. New Perks and Equipment

Season 3 introduces several new Perks that are all available at launch:

• Gunslinger Vest: A secondary weapon specialist perk that refreshes stamina on kill, improves reload speed, allows reloading while sprinting, increases weapon swap speed, and spawns you with maximum reserve ammo.
• Modular Assault Rig: You start with maximum reserve ammo and can resupply Lethals and Tacticals from dead players.
• Compression Carrier: Immediately start regenerating health after a kill or objective capture, and reduced effect from gas grenades.
• Reinforced Boots: Immune to movement reduction effects.
• High-Gain Antenna: Minimap is zoomed out, enemies remain on radar longer.
  
  

There’s also new equipment that will be available mid-season:

• EMD Mine: A mine that sticks to surfaces and shoots out tracker devices that reveal the enemy location.
  
  

What’s New in Zombies Season 3?

1. Dark Aether Story Continues

Save Dr. Jansen in a new region of the Dark Aether.

2. Take on a Third Rift

Complete a series of objectives to unlock a gate to enter the Third Rift that holds valuable rewards.

3. Season 3 Challenges and Schematics

Season 3 features new Prestige Calling Card challenges and new unique Camo challenges for the new weapons.

You also get access to 3 new schematics in Season 3:

• Dead Wire Detonators: An electrical damage mod for explosive weaponry, including Lethals and Launchers.
• Golden Mask Filter: Gain a self-regenerating gas mask for the rest of the match.
• Sergeant’s Beret: Disguise yourself among Zakhaev’s hired guns and summon a Merc Bodyguard who shadows you.
  
  

4. Warlord Rainmaker

New Warlord Rainmaker is an artillery and demolitions expert, using mortar rounds and RPG fire in a lair surrounded by water.

• FJX Horus (SMG): An ultra-compact SMG with best-in-class CQC damage and mobility.
• MORS (Sniper Rifle): Single-load railgun with high damage, high velocity, penetrating rounds.
