Install HBO Max on your Apple TV in 3 steps

Installing HBO Max on your Apple TV is easy as a breeze. Just follow these steps:

Note: You can only install HBO Max on an Apple TV 4K or an Apple TV HD with the latest tvOS-software. Other models unfortunately don’t support the functionality to install apps.

  1. On your Apple TV, open the App Store in the main menu
  2. Search for the HBO Max app
  3. Click on HBO Max and start the download

After this, you can find the app on the home screen. Log in or create a new account and start bingeing!

Stream on the go with HBO Max on your iPhone or MacBook

Once you have your HBO Max account, you can also watch shows on your iPhone or MacBook. Perfect for streaming on the go!

Install HBO Max on your iPhone:

  1. Go to the App Store
  2. Search for the HBO Max app and click on Install
  3. Log into your account and start streaming!

Install HBO Max on your MacBook:

  1. Go to hbomax.com
  2. Log into your account and start streaming!

As of now, there unfortunately isn’t any HBO Max app for MacBooks or other pc’s.
