Here are the free PlayStation Plus Games for December

Lego DC Supervillains (PS4 & PS5)

Don't be a good guy for once, be a villain! Now you can, in LEGO DC Super-Villains! This game features the greatest villains from Superman and Batman, among others. You probably know them, Joker and Harley Quinn and evil genius Lex Luthor for example. Do you lock up these crooks or... do you join forces? But wait, there’s more!

Have you always wanted to invent your own comic book superhero? Then this game is for you, because your self-made character plays the main role in this villainous adventure! From claws to laser beam eyes and all kinds of unique superpowers: mix, match and steal your own show. Or make it a collaboration with your mates, because this game has a couch co-op feature! Where a game of LEGO used to consist of trying not to step on the blocks with your bare feet, you can now digitally tinker with your own LEGO DC Super villain. The future is here and let me tell you, it feels good being a villain!

Mortal Shell (PS4 & PS5)

If you're into games like Bloodborne or Dark Souls, you'll find a nice and bite-sized version of that in Mortal Shell. Innovative enough to surprise the Dark Souls veterans a bit, with the creepy-recognizability that makes this title effortless against the large amount of 'Souls-like' games that come along these days. The enemies can also kill you with a single strike in Mortal Shell. Making you lose all your loot. So it’s a challenge to say the least, but a good one at that!

You start out as Harros, an ordinary knight with just as ordinary stats. It’ll probably make you go ‘meh’ at first. But the great thing about Mortal Shell is that you'll find other characters to wear. Literally, because you get inside the bodies of fallen warriors. As far as we're concerned, this changing body is exactly the innovative gimmick within this genre to bring something new to the table. A little variety in the Soul-genre so to speak. Embark on this dark adventure where you have to work hard for your victory. But once you get there, it’s so worth it!

Godfall - Challenger Edition (PS5)

In this next-gen Looter-Slasher especially for PS5, you enter a fantasy world filled with knights and wizards. Deal with impressive enemies for the most beautiful armor and all the other loot that will help you in your battles. But, do note that this title, Godfall - Challenger Edition, is not the same as the original game. So how does that work? Well, the single player campaign from the original Godfall is missing from this edition. In this Challengers Edition you will find three endgame modes instead: Lightbringer, Deamstones and Ascended Tower of Trials.

This means that you don't have to grind and level up with your character from the get-go. All 12 classes are immediately available and your character is immediately upgradable. So you can take on all bosses and choose the most beautiful armor and finest sword right from the start. It kind of comes down to that. By the way, you can also play it together online, so that's fun!

VR Games December
