EA FC 25 Road to the Final (RTTF): Release Date & Players

With events like FUT Dreamchasers still running and Team of the Season being upon us, it looks like Road to the Final unfortunately isn't happening in 2025. If there's any important RTTF news, we'll update this page immediately!

What is EA FC 25 Road to the Final?

Road to the Final (RTTF) is an annual event in EA SPORTS FC, celebrating the best players of the UEFA competitions' knockout stages with limited-time player cards. The RTTF player cards are dynamic and receive stat upgrades as the player and their team perform well and progress throughout the tournament.

EA FC 25 RTTF release date

The EA FC 25 Road to the Final release date will likely be February 14, 2025. Traditionally, RTTF drops in mid-February, with the RTTF player cards becoming available in packs on Friday, which would make a probable release schedule from February 14 to February 21.

The RTTF player cards will then receive upgrades if their team progresses through the tournament. Based on the match dates, you can expect updates in the following weeks:

• Knockout phase play-offs: February 11/12 & 18/19
• Round of 16: March 4/5 & 11/12
• Quarter-finals: April 8/9 & 15/16

How can I get EA FC 25 RTTF players?

Here’s how you can obtain FC 25 Road to the Final players in Ultimate Team:

1. Buy RTTF Players on the Transfer Market

A guaranteed way to get RTTF players is via the in-game transfer market. Unfortunately, because of their high ratings, they are in high demand and come at a premium price, so be prepared to spend big. We recommend waiting at least a little while until more Road to the Final cards are in circulation to find slightly lower prices.

2. Complete Squad Building Challenges (SBCs)

A cheaper way to get RTTF players is by completing Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), which earn you player packs to open. During the Road to the Final event, watch out for special SBCs that could reward you with packs containing RTTF cards. Maximize your chances by completing as many SBCs as possible.

3. Buy Packs with FC Coins or FC Points

If the transfer market and SBCs don’t appeal to you, you can always buy packs directly using FC Coins or FC Points. Coins are earned by playing matches or trading items, while FC Points can be purchased.

Startselect offers official FC Points for Xbox and official PlayStation Store cards that can be used to get FC Points in the PlayStation Store. Pick up a card for your preferred platform and instantly start opening packs!
