With Elden Ring being the insanely long game that it is, many players are curious how long the DLC will be. The exact time for Shadow of the Erdtree has not been revealed, but that means there is room to speculate! Game Director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed to IGN that the DLC will be at least as big as Limgrave. From that, we know that the DLC can take somewhere between 10 and 40 hours (or even more) to complete, depending on how difficult the Shadow of the Erdtree will be.
Elden Ring fans on Reddit made a poll about the duration of the DLC. The conclusion: most of the voters, 3400 to be exact, think that Shadow of the Erdtree will be between 26 and 29 hours long.

As of now, Bandai Namco has no plans to make an Elden Ring 2. Miyazaki revealed this information in an interview to IGN. However, the Game Director doesn’t want to exclude the option for a second game or DLC. “We don't want to say this is the end of the Elden Ring saga for now … We don't want to discourage the possibilities for that. There might be more ideas in the future”, Miyazaki explained to IGN.
