How does Road to the Final (RTTF) work?

Road to the Final is a limited-time in-game event that runs simultaneously with the knockout stage of the UEFA competitions. During the event, exclusive Road to the Final player cards will be released for players who champion the clubs still in the knockout stage.

However, unlike most other player cards, Road to the Final players have the potential to receive an upgrade based on how far their club reaches in the knockout stage of their respective UEFA competition.

This is the general upgrade path for RTTF player cards:

• First upgrade: +1 In-Form
• Second upgrade: +1 In-Form
• Third upgrade: +1 In-Form
• Fourth upgrade: +1 PlayStyle+
• Fifth upgrade: +1 In-Form, 5-star Weak Foot, 5-star Skill Move
  
  

When is Road to the Final in EA FC 24?

The Road to the Final event takes place during the knockout stage of the UEFA competitions. The RTTF players will be upgraded at the end of the week following a milestone victory or qualification. Based on the match dates, you can expect updates in the following weeks:

• Win or Draw 1st R16 Game: February 13-21 
• Qualify for Quarterfinals: March 5-13
• Qualify for Semifinals: April 16-17 
• Qualify for Final: May 7-8
• Win the Final: June 1

How can I obtain Road to the Final players?

1. Buy RTTF players on the transfer market.

A guaranteed way to acquire RTTF players is through the in-game transfer market. However, RTTF players are highly desired, especially as their team progresses further through the knockout stage, making them relatively expensive. A good, albeit risky, strategy could be to invest in an RTTF player that hasn’t received an upgrade but whose team you think will make it far into the tournament. This way, you can buy them at a slightly lower price, and your investment will pay off if their team manages to stay in the tournament long enough. Nonetheless, RTTF player cards will always come at a premium.

2. Complete Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) to earn packs.

As usual, you can earn player packs by completing squad building challenges. Complete one of the following RTTF squad building challenges to potentially obtain an RTTF player:

• 83+ x10 Upgrade: Earn a pack containing 10 Rare Gold Players rated 83 OVR or higher.
• 82+ Upgrade: Earn a pack containing a Rare Gold Player rated 82 OVR or higher.
• Magic Four: Complete this Road to the Final Challenge to celebrate the Win of Manchester City against Real Madrid in the Semi-Finals.
• Sebastián Coates: Earn a UEFA Europa League Road to the Final, Sebastián Coates.
• 86+ Ultimate Dynasties, TOTGS or Winter Wildcards Player Pick: Earn 1 of 4 Ultimate Dynasties, TOTGS or Winter Wildcards Players rated 86 OVR or higher (not including Heroes or Icons)
• The Final: Complete this Road to the Final Challenge to celebrate the Win of Manchester City against Inter in the Final.
• 85+ Player Pick: Earn 1 of 3 Rare Gold Players rated 85 OVR or higher.
• Joshua Kimmich: Earn a UEFA Champions League Road to the Final, Joshua Kimmich.
• Victory Path: Complete this Road to the Final Challenge to celebrate the Win of Manchester City against Borussia Dortmund in Group Stages.
  
  

3. Buy packs with Coins or FC Points.
