Can I pay for Amazon Prime with an Amazon Gift Card?

Yes! You can use an Amazon Gift Card to pay for an Amazon Prime subscription, including Prime Video. While Amazon doesn’t offer actual “Amazon Prime Video Gift Cards”, you can add an Amazon Gift Card to your account balance and use it to cover your Prime membership fees. At Startselect, we’re happy to show you how to do this in 3 easy steps!

Step 1: Buy one of our Amazon Gift Cards

First of all, it’s important you have enough balance to be able to buy your Amazon Prime subscription. If you don’t have enough credit, you can top up your Amazon balance with one of our Amazon gift cards! You'll receive your cose instantly after completing your payment, so you can immediately headover to the next step.

1. Navigate to your Amazon account.
2. Go to “Manage gift card balance” and select “Redeem a gift card”.
3. Enter your code and select “Apply to my balance”, and you’re all set! 
   
   

Step 3: Choose “Amazon Balance” as your payment method

If you’re new to Amazon Prime, you can select “Use Amazon Balance” as the preferred payment method during signing up! If not, simply follow these steps:

1. Login to your account and go to “Your Prime Membership” in the account section of the menu. 
2. Click on “Manage Subscription” and select “Change payment method”. 
3. Choose “Use Amazon Balance”, and the membership will be deducted from your balance each month or each year (depending on your preference). 
   
   

Tip: Your subscription will automatically stop when you don’t have enough balance. So be sure to top up your balance with an Amazon gift card in time!
