Apex Legends Season 11: Escape

Respawn has said they are currently too busy with developing other games, postponing a sequel to Titanfall 2 for now. But that also means we definitely have something to look forward to! And of course we can now fully immerse ourselves in the brand new Apex Legends season: Escape. No distractions whatsoever. Here's what awaits you in Season 11!

New Legend: Ash

She may look familiar to you from Titanfall 2, this iron lady Ash is now making her move as a playable Legend in Apex. She possesses powers similar to the Titans from Titanfall. Ash is a perfect champion for the more aggressive players out there who are always eager to make the first move. Let's take a closer look at her abilities:

• Tactical: Arc Snare
• Passive: Marked For Death
• Ultimate: Phase Breach

With Arc Snare, Ash can lock her enemies to the ground by means of a shock. But beware: precision is a requirement with this Tactical. Make sure you hit the opponents directly, or the ground closely next to them, otherwise you are guaranteed to miss. And that would be a shame of this power-packed attack!

The Marked For Death Passive allows you to see Deathboxes on your map when a player dies. Additionally, it is possible to throw a Dataknife on the Deathbox to find the team of the fallen player. However, this can only be done once, so use it wisely.

Unleash your Ronin Titan power with the Ultimate ability Phase Breach, allowing you to teleport 70ft horizontally or vertically. This move is similar to Wraith’s portal you may already know. A good Ultimate to start or avoid battles with. Your team members can also travel with your portal for a limited time. Forward, but not back. This move makes Ash an assertive character who likes to confront the enemy head-first. Not your average wallflower, this one!

When does Season 11 start?

On November 2, 2021, the new season of Apex Legends: Escape will begin. In the UK, you can check the new season out from 5pm (GMT).

With a new season of course there comes a new Battle Pass. And as always, you can get the best Premium Rewards with it, such as Apex Coins, XP Boosts and much more. You’ll also receive plenty of cosmetics, this time for Gibraltar, Mirage, Loba, Revenant and Wraith. Rewards include skins, matching weapon skins, banner frames, and weapon charms. New Map: Storm Point

No time to relax in this ultimate paradise, Storm Point is the largest Apex map ever. It’s 15% larger than World's Edge. No wonder it’s equipped with the necessary Tridents and Gravity Cannons to cannonball yourself smoothly from A to B. It’s even possible to use your powers and weapons during this flight, but be aware of the noise that comes with this means of travel! The Wildlife Nests have also returned to Storm Point. Avoid those pesky beasties, or go hunting for Prowlers, Spiders and Flyers to earn some extra loot.

New Weapon: C.A.R. SMG

Another favorite from Titanfall is the C.A.R. SMG, which is now also available in Apex - be it in a slightly different form. You can switch between heavy and light ammo with this weapon, same goes for its attachments. An ideal gun for shooting at lightning speed, lending itself especially well for some close range, point blank, in-your-face action. This flexible weapon will undoubtedly make you the Last Legend Standing.
