Does Palworld have multiplayer?

You can absolutely play Palworld together with your friends! The PC and Xbox version of the game both support multiplayer. Online servers allow you to catch and trade Pals with other players, go on adventures, or even steal their items. As of now, you can’t battle other players. Steam mentions that a PvP will be implemented in a future update, and we’re definitely looking forward to that!

How to play multiplayer in Palworld

You can play multiplayer in Palworld two different ways:

• Online co-op play: this allows up to 4 players
• Dedicated servers: this allows up to 32 players
  
  

PC-players are lucky! They can access both multiplayer modes. As of now, only the Online co-op play is available for Xbox-players.

This is how you play the 4 player co-op multiplayer in Palworld:

1. When you create a world, switch multiplayer to ‘on’ or switch multiplayer on in 'World Settings' when you re-enter a world
2. Click on the ‘options' tab in the pause menu.
3. Choose ‘ Reveal Invite Code’ and send it to your friends!
   
   

To join the co-op play, simply click on ‘Join Multiplayer Game (Invite Code)’ in the main menu and enter the invite code. You now enter the host’s world, and you can start your adventure together!

To join a server, simply follow these steps:

1. Select ‘Join Multiplayer Game’ in the main menu
2. Choose a server from the list. You can also search by various criteria or type in the IP address of a specific server
3. Click ‘connect’ to join
4. You will have to create a new character, and you’re ready to play!
   
   

Note: Every time you re-enter a world, you need to generate a new code to play together.
