What are COD Points?

COD Points are the in-game currency in Call of Duty games and Warzone. If you want to grab some in-game goodies from the store, you'll need COD Points. Plus, you need them to purchase the Battle Pass.

Getting Call of Duty skins with COD Points

In every modern Call of Duty game, there's a store where you can use COD Points to buy cool extras for your character and weapons, all grouped in what's called "bundles". These bundles include the following in-game items:

  • Operator skins: character costumes
  • Weapon blueprints: skins for weapons and selected attachments
  • Weapon charms: small decorative items for your gun
  • Weapon stickers: stickers for your gun
  • Watches: wristwatches for your character
  • Vehicle skins: customizations for your vehicles
  • Finishing moves: special knockout animations
  • Quips: character catchphrases
  • Player cards: profile banners
  • Emblems: profile badges

Purchasing the Battle Pass with COD Points

You can also use COD Points to purchase the Battle Pass. It's a digital pass with 100 levels (also known as "Tiers") that lasts for 1 Season. As you play the game, you level up your Battle Pass and unlock new skins and other cosmetics at each Tier. This means you get to unlock over 100 unique Battle Pass items each Season when you complete the Battle Pass. A Season lasts about 3 to 4 months, giving you plenty of time to finish it.

Each Battle Pass costs 1,100 COD Points, but the great part is you can earn up to 1,400 COD Points back as you complete the Battle Pass. So, you'll always have enough COD Points for the next Battle Pass in the new Season, as long as you complete it. Even better, you get an extra 300 COD Points if you complete the entire Battle Pass.

All the items you can unlock through the store and the Battle Pass are purely cosmetic. This means they don't give you any advantage in the game, ensuring fair play.

How do you get COD Points?

The fastest way to get COD Points is by purchasing them. You can easily buy COD Points with an official COD Points card for Xbox, a PlayStation Store Card, or a Blizzard Gift Card. At Startselect, you'll find official gift cards for all platforms thanks to our partnerships with publishers. This way, you know your COD Points code is 100% legitimate.

Free COD Points

Another way to get COD Points is through the Battle Pass. When you purchase the Battle Pass, you can earn up to 1,400 COD Points by leveling it up. In this way, you're essentially getting 'free' COD Points, with a chance to earn up to an additional 300 COD Points each season, since the Battle Pass only costs 1,100 COD Points.

Which games can I use COD Points in?

You can use COD Points in the following Call of Duty games:

  • Modern Warfare (2019)
  • Black Ops Cold War
  • Vanguard
  • Modern Warfare II (2022)
  • Modern Warfare III (2023)
  • Warzone

Can I transfer COD Points to other COD games and platforms?

  • The COD Points you purchase are automatically available in all supported Call of Duty games.
For example: if you've purchased COD Points in MWII, you can use them in MWIII.
  • You cannot transfer COD Points to another platform.
For example: if you've purchased COD Points on PlayStation, you cannot use them on your Xbox account.
