I bought this as my daughter wanted to play animal crossing online. When I FINALLY figured out how to link it to her account, I discovered I can't and that a family account is needed, one that I can only apparently buy 12 months for and can't afford, especially now I've bought this. Very confusing and annoying. I don't want an online amount, I don't play the switch. My daughter is pretty upset. This is not made clear at all and it also feels unfair that as a loan parent I have to pay for 1 user the same as a family of 8 users.
