What was an App Store & iTunes gift card?

An App Store & iTunes card was a voucher which could be used to make purchases in the Apple App Store. Startselect had a wide variety of iTunes gift cards, namely CHF 30, CHF 50, CHF 100, CHF 200. We even had an iTunes Gift Card with variable credit, so you could choose your own value between CHF 30 and CHF 300. Aside from using the iTunes voucher for yourself, you could also gift it to a friend or family member.

What can I use App Store & iTunes credit for?

In the past, you could use your App Store gift card to top up your iTunes balance. With your iTunes credit, you could make your purchases in the App Store & iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad, MacBook or iMac. For example, you could directly exchange your App Store & iTunes credits for apps, games, films, music and e-books, or to increase your iCloud storage capacity.

With the new Apple Gift Cards, you can purchase anything Apple. This means that besides spending it in iTunes or in the App Store, you can even use it to buy products at your local Apple Store, for example the newest iPhone or Macbook.

Is my iTunes Gift Card still redeemable?

If you haven’t used your iTunes Gift Card, then you can still redeem it as usual. If you can’t find the code, then you can retrieve it by looking for the email we sent you or by logging into your Startselect account. Your iTunes code will always be valid if you haven’t used it already.

The App Store & iTunes gift cards codes are redeemable via appstore.com/redeem. After you redeem the code, the amount will be automatically added to your App store balance.

Check your iTunes balance

You can check your App Store & iTunes balance in the App Store by simply clicking on your account in the top right corner of your screen. After that, your Apple Balance should be visible on your screen.
