The most prized currency in Fire Emblem Heroes are the orbs that allow you to summon new heroes. An event starting today offers players the possibility to earn a few extra of them.

Last week, Fire Emblem Heroes got its first big update, bringing us a roster of new heroes to play with. While we are all thrilled to see more heroes to strategize with, most of us will probably have finished the main story by now and will be running low on orbs. Luckily, during an event starting today and lasting until February 27th, players can collect some extra orbs.
During the event, players can complete a series of quests called ‘Sword Mastery’, ‘Lance Mastery’ and ‘Axe Mastery’. These quests task the player with completing a certain level in the game with a team consisting of a single weapon type. Completing these challenges will yield rewards like shards and, in some cases, orbs. Two orbs per category can be earned, so you can earn a total of six orbs through these challenges.
The update also adds two new launch celebration maps. Completing these maps nets the player three orbs each, adding another six orbs to the total amount. This brings the total amount of orbs that can be earned to twelve. Add the daily log-in bonus to this and players can earn an impressive amount of 26 orbs this week: enough to summon a new set of five heroes by the end of the week.
Not playing Fire Emblem Heroes yet? You can download the game for free for Android and IOS. If the event does not quench your thirst for orbs, you can always use ITunes or Google Play Credit to buy them. Need more credit? You know where to find it. (Availability depending on region).
