Apple introduces Indie Showcase
Apple shows some love to independent game creators in the new permanent Indie Showcase on the App Store.

We love indie games and are always happy to see them getting some extra attention. We are therefore pleased to see Apple launch their new Indie Showcase on the App Store. The section will run indefinitely, featuring new indie games daily and highlighting older ones. The mix of apps is created by the editorial team and will contain both free-to-play and paid games.
Apple has described the creation of the showcase as a way to ensure 'creativity, sustainability and diversity' in the App Store, which is undoubtedly an admirable thing to strive for. The Indie Showcase is live now, featuring titles such as Device 6 (which we recommended earlier) and Year Walk.
