It's week 16 of 2016; a good week for PS4 and Wii U owners, with each platform getting its own exclusive this week. It's also a week where fans of tactical RPG's can get their hands on the sequel to one of the genre's best games of the last few years.

The Banner Saga 2 – April 19 (PC, OS X)

When three developers from BioWare started their own indie company, gamers were hyped to see their first game. And The Banner Saga – released in 2014 – did not disappoint. The game is a tactical RPG inspired by games such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Shining Force. The game is set in a Viking-inspired fantasy setting and features some highly stylized graphics.

Though the game originally came out on PC and OS X, it was later released on the iPad, Android tablets, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One. The sequel will probably follow that same path, with a PC/OSX version coming out now, followed by other platforms later this year.

Ratchet & Clank April 20 (PS4)

It's been a while, but your favourite sort-of-cat-and-robot duo is back! Ratchet and Clank were last seen on the PlayStation 3, but as of April 20th you can find them on Sony's newest console as well.

Ratchet & Clank is – in a way – a reimagining of the original game, but they've rebuild it from the ground up for the PlayStation 4. This means new elements like guns from later games have found their way to this iteration as well. Alongside this game, a Ratchet & Clank movie should hit the theaters this week as well. Just like its PS4-counterpart, this movie tells the origin story of Ratchet and Clank.

Star Fox Zero / Star Fox Guard – April 22 (Wii U)

After spending a couple of years solely as a Super Smash Bros. character, Fox McCloud is finally back in the seat of his Arwing spaceship. Star Fox Zero follows the same gameplay principles as its classic predecessors, but this time you can use the motion controls on your Wii U Gamepad to aim your weapons. You can also touch down and transform your Arwing into a Walker and explore the different levels by land.

Along with Zero, Nintendo will also release Star Fox Guard this day. This is a tower defense game where you have to defend your base using different camera's. It's bundled with the game, but also available separately through the Nintendo eShop.
