The code has been entered incorrectly
The code is not valid in the region of your Nintendo account.

How to solve it?

Check for any typo, and if you entered the 16 characters of the code correctly.
Check if the region of your Nintendo account matches the region of your Nintendo gift card.

Instructions

Copy the code that we have sent you and go to the following website to redeem the code: https://ec.nintendo.com/redeem.
Check in your billing informations to make sure that the region is correct. For example, you cannot activate a code valid in Europe on an account from the US.

 

This code has already been used.

Why do you see this message?

You or someone else has already used this code.

How to solve it?

Verify that you have entered the code correctly.
Restart your device, and login once more on your Nintendo account. If the credit still doesn’t appear, please contact the Nintendo Support.

Were you sold a used code?

Because we are authorized retailers, our codes are provided by official providers: upon purchase, a code is generated only for you and nobody else can access it before you. It’s thus impossible that a code has been used before you received it.

 

If you receive Error Code: 2811-6058, wait a short while before trying to redeem the prepaid card again.
