Der Inhalt von Spielen mit dieser Einstufung ist für alle Altersgruppen geeignet. Wenige Gewaltdarstellungen in einem lustigen Kontext (etwa in der Art, wie sie in Zeichentrickserien wie Bugs Bunny oder Tom & Jerry vorkommen) sind akzeptabel. Der Charakter auf dem Bildschirm sollte vom Kind nicht mit real existierenden Wesen in Verbindung gebracht werden können, sondern in allen Aspekten ein Fantasiewesen sein. In dem Spiel sollten weder Bilder noch Geräusche eingesetzt werden, die junge Kinder erschrecken oder ängstigen könnten. Vulgäre Sprache darf ebenso nicht vorkommen.
Um einen Key bei Steam einlösen zu können, benötigen Sie zunächst ein Nutzerkonto bei der Spieleplattform. Dieses können Sie auf der offiziellen Website www.steampowered.com einrichten.
Außerdem muss der Steam-Client auf Ihrem System installiert sein. Gehen Sie hierzu auf www.steampowered.com und klicken Sie auf „Steam installieren“. Nun können Sie den Key einlösen:
1. Öffnen Sie den Steam-Client und melden Sie sich mit Ihrem Account an.
2. Klicken Sie unten links im Programmfenster auf "+ Spiel hinzufügen…" und wählen Sie "Ein Produkt bei Steam aktivieren…".
3. Im neuen Fenster klicken Sie auf "Weiter" und bestätigen mit einem Klick auf "Ich stimme zu" die Steam-Abonnementvereinbarung.
4. Geben Sie in das Feld "Produktschlüssel" den Key des Spiels ein, das Sie aktivieren möchten. Sie können den Key auch mittels Copy&Paste einfügen. Klicken Sie anschließend auf "Weiter". Das Spiel wird dann zu Ihrem Steam-Account hinzugefügt.
