It was leaked, teased and then leaked again, but Ubisoft now finally officially unveiled Watch Dogs 2. The publisher revealed the game on Youtube last night and spent 15 minutes explaining everything there is to know about the game. That it has memes, for example.
Here's the short version: You play as a guy named Marcus, who alligns himself with the hacktivist group Dedsec. Your weapon of choice is a billiart ball attached to a cord, you can free-run through the entire city and you hack basically anything in your sight. Almost every object, from cellphones to cars can be accessed and manipulated.
Above all, Ubisoft promises a living and breathing city. San Francisco already looks a lot more pleasant than Chicago (where the first Watch Dogs took place), but its citizens should feel more alive as well. They will interact with eachother instead of just focussing on your actions. While playing you will also meet other players, with whom you can team up to play missions in co-op mode.
Watch Dogs 2 will release on November 15, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
