After what many considered was a rather weak line-up last month (although we're having a great time with Tricky Towers), Sony thought it was time to give us some good games for September. Here's the full line-up:
You can download these (and the other games) for free starting next week. Need to renew your PlayStation Plus subscription? Check out our PlayStation products! (Not yet available in all regions)
Journey is a game by thatgamecompany and was created by one of the guys that made last month's Abzû. In Journey you wake up in a desert and start making your way to a mountain far on the horizon. On your way, you'll meet mythical creatures, explore vast underground tunnels and conquer heavy snowfall. You will probably also meet other mysterious travelers that may or may not help you uncover this game's secrets. The trick is that you can't talk to these other players and you won't even know their name until you've finished the game.
Lords of the Fallen is a dark, gothic action RPG that has a strong resemblance to the Souls / Bloodborne series. It is set in a world where the gods have waged war on mankind and it's up to our hero Harkyn to make peace. How? By slaughtering a bunch of demons in a dark castle, of course! Lords of the Fallen offers three different player classes, a whole arsenal of weapons and a highly customizable skill system.
