The period just before the yearly E3 convention in Los Angeles isn't usually the most exciting when it comes to game releases. This month isn't all that bad though, with a bunch of awesome triple-A titles coming out.

First up is Battleborn, releasing on May 3rd. This is a first-person shooter, developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. Though in its core Battleborn is definitely a shooter, it is also heavily influenced by MOBA's like League of Legends and DotA.
The game will feature 25 playable characters at launch, each with its own specialisation. There's also several game modes, including a campaign mode that you can complete solo or in co-op with four other players. Battleborn is available for PC right here at Startselect!
After being delayed several times, this month we can finally play the fourth instalment in the Uncharted series. Fans have been eagerly awaiting Drake's final and (according to Naughty Dog) "greatest adventure yet".
Several years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Nathan Drake thinks he's done with his fortune hunting career. Until someone from his past – long believed to be dead – shows up. Haven't played the first three games? You can still pick up the Nathan Drake collection to catch up!
It's been twelve since since the last DOOM came out (we're not counting the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack or the BFG Edition). Twelve years! But on May 13, this classic is back to raise hell on the PC, PS4 and One once again.
DOOM features pretty much everything you expect from it. In fact, according to producer Marty Stratton, this game all about "badass demons and big fucking guns". Do we need to say more? DOOM is also available right here at Startselect.
Remember when Blizzard introduced an entirely new franchise? Neither do we! Okay, yes we do, it was StarCraft back in 1998. But this month will mark the first new Blizzard IP in 17 years. It's called Overwatch and needless to say we're very excited.
Overwatch is all about 6 vs 6 multiplayer battles. There's 21 Hero's to choose from, all having their own strengths, weaknesses and counter-plays. The game meets the very similar Battleborn head-on, launching the open beta on May 3rd.
Is that all? Of course not! Here's the full list for this month.
