FIFA 17 is not only supported by a Companion App, there’s also a new mobile game. It’s called FIFA Mobile (naturally) and you can download it for free!

We’ve already talked about the FIFA 17 Companion app, which mainly focuses on team management in Ultimate Team. But there was no way to actually play any football matches in that app. That’s why Electronic Arts also launched FIFA Mobile, which is a very decent mobile version of the full game.
The main attraction in FIFA Mobile is the new Attack Mode. In this gamemode you will only play the parts of the match where you’re attacking. If the defending team takes the ball or you shoot it out of bounds, the attack is over. You do this until the time for the first half of the match is up, after which your opponent can try his luck. After him you’ll play the second half of the match and so will your opponent. The person with the most successful attacks wins, of course.
Playing is relatively easy. You can tap players to pass the ball to them, or swipe in the direction of the goal to try and score. You can also hold your thumb on the screen to use a virtual joystick to directly control the player that has the ball.
By playing you’ll earn packs with new players, or coins to buy those packs. Of course you can also buy the packs to quickly expand your team. The game itself is free to download however, so if you need your FIFA-fix while on the road, this is the app for you!
